Tips for Students
- Purchase all the basic supplies: pencils, pens, erasers, rulers, a calculator, spiral notebooks or loose-leaf binders, computer disks and a backpack etc., at least two weeks earlier than your school opens, it will save your time and effort of running around the shops in the market and spending extra money in hurry.
- Purchase at least two ink pens that are easy to write with (ballpoint pens can be messy) and keep at least two extra writing instruments in your backpack. It won’t raise your tension when you want to write and you have to borrow from somebody. Prepare yourself ahead.
- Select such notebooks that include folder pockets for storing handouts or buy binders to hold handouts and spare paper for notes.
- Nowadays all the schools impart computer education, and you must have a pack of CD’s to save your work for later retrieval and a CD carrying case to keep your work safe for long time.
- Buy a day planner or organizer to keep track of assignments and tests.
- Purchase a good dictionary that gives multiple definitions of words along with their origins.
